Tax Clearance Procedures

Central Bank Requirement

Under Bank of Papua New Guinea regulations, certain transactions require tax clearance before funds can be sent overseas. This applies when the total yearly remittance exceeds K1,500,000. To send amounts over this threshold, you need a Tax Clearance Certificate (TCC) from the Internal Revenue Commission (IRC), confirming that all taxes are up to date.
