Stay Protected. Remember:
❌ BSP will never ask for your password, PIN or OTP through social media, WhatsApp, email or SMS.
❌ Never share your password, PIN, OTP or full card details with anyone.
✅ Always verify website addresses before entering your banking credentials.
✅ Only access banking services through BSP’s official websites, mobile banking apps and communication channels.
✅ Be cautious of offers that promise easy money, prizes, gifts or investment returns.
❌ Never click suspicious links or download attachments from unknown sources.
✅ Install and regularly update reputable antivirus and anti-malware software on all devices used to access BSP services.
✅ Run regular security scans on your mobile phones, tablets and computers to help detect malicious software.
✅ Change your passwords regularly and use strong, unique passwords for each online account. 12 Characters or more combining uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and special characters.
✅ Where available, enable additional security features such as multi-factor authentication (MFA) to add another layer of protection.
❌ Do not use the same password across multiple platforms, websites or applications.
✅ Enable transaction notifications and regularly monitor your accounts for unusual activity.
If You Think You Have Been Targeted
If you receive a suspicious message, email, phone call or social media request:
- Stop all communication immediately.
- Do not provide any personal or banking information.
- Do not click any links or download attachments.
- Change your password immediately if you believe your account may have been compromised.
- Run an antivirus or anti-malware scan on your device.
- Contact your nearest BSP branch or BSP Contact Centre immediately.
- Report suspicious emails, websites or social media accounts claiming to represent BSP.
