About the Role

Are you a strategic operator with a passion for people and process excellence? As Senior Operations Manager, People & Culture, you’ll be at the heart of our HR engine—leading benefits administration, streamlining employee lifecycle processes, and ensuring seamless HRIS execution across our Pacific markets. Reporting to the Head of P&C Operations & Shared Services, you’ll be the go-to expert for operational transactions, partnering closely with Business Managers, Finance, and Payroll to deliver service that’s not just efficient, but exceptional.

This role is pivotal in driving transformation, enhancing data integrity, and embedding continuous improvement into everything we do. With a sharp eye for optimization and a commitment to elevating the employee experience, you’ll shape the systems and processes that support our people and power our purpose.

 

Key Deliverables

  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Oversee the administration and processing of employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, wellness, and leave policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements
  • Lead the HR operations team in managing the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring all processes are efficient, compliant, and employee-centric
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records and HRIS data, in line with data privacy regulations
  • Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies and procedures related to benefits and operations, improving the driving process and operational excellence and cross collaborating in transformation efforts
  • Act as a primary point of contact for escalated employee benefits inquiries and operational issues, providing expert guidance and resolution
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth benefits administration and resolve any issues
  • Analyse HR operations and benefits data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement, reporting findings to senior leadership
  • Ensure all benefits and HR operations practices are aligned with company culture, values, and legal compliance
  • Coach and develop HR operations team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance
  • Liaises with internal and external vendors for improvements in Operations and identifies use cases for process improvement for digitisation and automation opportunities.

 

What You Bring:

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Technology related field; or Master’s degree or HR certification preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficient with MS365 and AI Apps, Data Analytics & Reporting
  • HRIS and HR Technology Proficiency, Processes and Controls
  • Benefits Administration Expertise
  • Project Management & Process Design and Improvements and Regulatory Knowledge
  • 7+ years of progressive HR operations experience, with a focus on benefits administration and employee lifecycle management
  • Strong knowledge of benefits programs, regulatory compliance, and HRIS systems
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
