About the Role
This role is responsible for providing support for Treasury Balance Sheet reporting by preparing reconciliations, validating regulatory reporting data, analysing variances, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance requirements are met, and supporting effective financial controls and reporting accuracy
Key Deliverables
- Reconcile Treasury-related balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
- Investigate and resolve outstanding reconciliation items and variances.
- Perform daily reconciliation of Treasury positions, trades, cash, and FX transactions.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of Treasury transactions and reporting.
- Validate and maintain supporting documentation for reconciliations and audits.
- Monitor and explain aged items, account movements, and discrepancies.
- Support compliance with operational KPIs, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Process internal transfers, cash movements, and FX conversions.
- Assist with Treasury system enhancements, projects, and data validation activities.
- Contribute to process improvements and reporting efficiency initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of Regulatory Risk Reporting.
Essential Qualifications, Professional/Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Progress towards or commitment to completing a CPA or other recognized professional accounting/finance certification.
- Professional certifications in Accounting, Finance, Treasury, or Risk Management will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of FX, Money Market, or Treasury operations. Understanding of financial markets accounting or product control processes. Strong numeracy and business mathematics skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Working knowledge of compliance, regulatory, and legislative requirements. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret financial data and prepare accurate reports. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- High attention to detail with 1–3 years’ experience in financial analysis, reporting, or related fields.
- Sound understanding of balance sheet accounts and reporting. Basic financial analysis and variance investigation skills.
- Experience in reconciliations, financial reporting, or treasury operations preferred. Exposure to regulatory reporting and compliance requirements is an advantage.
