Employee Experience Business Analyst

About the Role:

The Employee Experience Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in enhancing the employee experience by leveraging data driven insights to inform both strategic, operational and tactical improvements. By collaborating with stakeholders, testing initiatives through employee personas and monitoring outcomes, the Employee Experience Business Analyst drives initiatives that improve the workplace environment, elevate employee engagement and strengthen BSP’s culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess employee lifecycle touchpoints:
    • Map and evaluate key touchpoints across the employee lifecycle (e.g., onboarding, training, career development, off-boarding)
    • Provide insights on improving experiences at each stage to ensure alignment with BSP’s employee experience strategy
  • Create and utilise personas:
    • Develop detailed employee personas to represent different workforce segments and their needs
    • Use personas to test and validate initiatives, ensuring they address diverse employee experiences and perspectives
  • Evaluate user experience:
    • Analyse employee interactions with BSP people, internal systems, tools and processes to identify areas for improvement
    • Collaborate with teams to ideate and identify changes that may enhance experience, usability and efficiency
  • Analyse engagement survey and insights:
    • Collect, analyse and interpret engagement survey data to uncover trends and pain points
    • Use P&C workforce data to create a broader engagement insight across the business
    • Create reports and dashboards to present insights and recommendations to stakeholders – sharing with P&C Business Partners
  • Research drivers of engagement:
    • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to identify and prioritise the key drivers of employee engagement and workplace satisfaction
    • Benchmark engagement data against industry standards and track progress over time
  • Provide data-driven recommendations:
    • Develop and present actionable insights based on employee experience data to guide strategic initiatives
    • Partner with P&C Business Partners and CoEs to implement data-driven solutions that enhance engagement and culture
  • Support continuous improvement:
    • Monitor the impact of implemented EX initiatives and refine strategies based on feedback and data
    • Stay informed of trends and best practices in employee experience, engagement and data analysis.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within HR or Employee Experience domains
  • Proficiency in HR systems and tools such as survey platforms and data analysis tools – Analytical skills and HR technology
  • Experience in Data Analytics/Data Mining/Data Wrangling
  • Success in designing and delivering solutions that improve employee engagement and workplace satisfaction.
  • Ability to interpret workforce demographics and trends to drive strategic HR decisions.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms for generating insights from employee data.
  • Competency in SQL and data query languages to extract and analyse employee data is a bonus.
