BSP Supports Life PNG Care Inc. Educate 500 Children
BSP Financial Group Limited (BSP) is pleased to support Life PNG Care Inc. with K10,000 towards its special education support program - Strongim Pikinini Education Program (SPEP) this year.
In presenting the cheque, BSP Paramount Banking – Relationship Manager and BSP Leadership Management Development Program participant, Richard La’a, said the bank is pleased to support, the (SPEP) program to educate 500 children currently under the care of Life PNG Care Inc.
“We believe that this support will make a positive difference in the lives of these underprivileged children in Port Moresby as it is only through education that they will change the scenario and give them hope for the future,” Mr La’a said.
“At BSP we believe in education and have given back to the communities we operate in through our annual community projects which focuses on various education needs such as donating desks, teacher’s tables, refurbishing classrooms, sporting infrastructure and equipment and installing solar powered lighting in schools around the country,” Mr La’a added.
Life PNG Care Inc. Director Collin Pake thanked BSP for this support including its continuous assistance over the past six (6) years.
“This support of K10,000 will go towards the 514 children we are sending to school this year. These children and youth are our future leaders and for BSP to be part of this investment for a better tomorrow gives my team confidence that together we can create a better tomorrow,” he said.

“We also thank BSP for having confidence in our team and working very closely with us to impact the next generation. Without an educated future generation, there's no better tomorrow and once again, thank you BSP for partnering with Life PNG Care's Strongim Pikinini Education Program. I believe together we can impact the next generation,” the Founding Director added.
SPEP has supported over 1,200 underprivileged children and youths by putting them to school. The program has sent six students to university so far. “One of those students who has benefitted from BSP’s support over the past 6 years will be graduating with an Accounting Degree from UPNG,” Mr Pake concluded.
BSP through its Corporate Social Responsibility programs invested over K1.3 million in Sponsorships in 2021 and over K847,000 in donations in PNG.
