BSP supports annual Enga Cultural Show
The annual Enga Cultural Show is on again this weekend, from Friday 9th to Sunday 11th August, 2024, and BSP Financial Group is excited to be part of this feast of cultural festivities as a Silver sponsor of the 30th Enga Cultural Show
BSP continues to support an event that attracts visitors from PNG as well as overseas that features a showcasing of sing sings, rituals, flora and fauna, the Enga-Made Expo and even banking services by BSP’s Wabag Branch.
Wabag Branch Manager Clyde Sollie in presenting BSP’s support of K30,000 this week said BSP is proud to play an important role in the community. Being the only commercial bank operating in Wabag, we are proud of our contribution to the provincial economy and we will continue to help communities we operate in. Our support in Enga Province encompasses more than just being present at such festivals,” Sollie added.
During the event, BSP Wabag team will assist customers with opening personal Accounts, register for Mobile and Internet Banking, as well as general banking queries.
“Supporting this event is just one of the many ways BSP gives back to the community. Since 2009, BSP has sponsored 25 community projects through our Porgera and Wabag branches totalling K600,000. This has covered a range of activities through education, health, sports, and the environment,” Sollie further added.
Sponsorship Sub-Chairman of the Enga Cultural Show Timothy Lawton, in receiving the K30,000 support thanked BSP for continuously being an active supporter of the show.
“On behalf of the Enga Cultural Show organising committee, I would like to express our sincere gratitude for BSP's continuous support of this event. Your partnership is greatly appreciated and has been instrumental in the success of the Enga Cultural Show,” Lawton added.
