BSP Brings Christmas Cheers to Patients
Bank South Pacific staff yesterday (Sunday 1st December 2019) visited Port Moresby General Hospital and the Gerehu General Hospital bringing gifts and Christmas cheer to the patients.
The staff arrived at the hospitals with gifts for kids of all ages including hand sanitisers, cool drinks and cookies, BSP merchandise and toiletries.
BSP Community Project Coordinator Nina Bulina said, "we always look forward to visiting the hospitals at this time of the year to spread a little festive cheer and meet some of the patients. It's a small act for us to spend some time to bring some joy, especially to children who cannot be home for Christmas".
"It's also fantastic to meet some of the staff who do an amazing job all year round. And our visit can cheer them to continue the good work," she added.
The hospital visits are part of the bank's corporate social responsibility program to top off a year of much worthy sponsorship, donations and activities the bank undertakes throughout the year.
BSP branches in Lae, Popondetta and Rabaul also organise similar visits to respective hospitals.
