Position Details

About the Role

Based at WHO reporting to the Head of CVM, this role is responsible for executing strategic objectives by developing compelling and dynamic value propositions for key customer segments, with a strong focus on the Affluent and Mass Market segments, driving the implementation of segment initiatives to achieve targets, identify growth opportunities, and enhance customer loyalty.

Key Deliverables
  • Strategic Leadership and Business Development: Drive the strategic management, business development, and profitability of key customer segments, ensuring alignment with overall Retail SBU goals.
  • Proposition and Affluent Banking Strategy Execution: Develop, execute, and manage proposition plans for the Affluent banking segment, considering market opportunities, competitor activities, internal capabilities, and BSP's risk appetite.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proactively engage with Retail Banking and other Strategic Business Unit (SBU) heads to define and implement growth strategies and priorities for the Affluent and Mass Market segments.
  • BSP Club Development and Management: Establish and manage a BSP Club program to enhance customer loyalty through comprehensive wealth solutions and partnerships, securing exclusive discounts and offers from external providers for members.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Governance: Enforce strict adherence to KYC and AML regulations, ensuring zero tolerance for non-compliance across the business segment.
  • Audit and Risk Management: Lead the resolution of compliance gaps and audit findings, ensuring the implementation of corrective and preventive actions for the identified segments.
  • Customer Insights and Competitor Benchmarking: Leverage customer research and competitor benchmarking, focusing on service and loyalty metrics such as Net Promoter Score (NPS), to initiate improvements and drive customer advocacy.
  • Retail Customer Segmentation: Develop and maintain a comprehensive retail customer segmentation model based on current and future value, customer needs, aspirations, and available socio-economic and operational data.
  • Marketing and Analytics Collaboration: Partner with Marketing and Analytics teams to plan and execute targeted promotions, campaigns, and incentives, aimed at increasing product adoption and enhancing customer engagement.
Essential Qualifications, Professional/Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Management. 10+ years banking experience with 5+ years’ experience in a Senior Management role within Retail or Corporate Banking.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing and coordinating relationships with clients, service providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Business Acumen: A strong understanding of BSPs retail operations, industry trends, and market dynamics with the ability to align corporate objectives with stakeholder needs to identify opportunities for growth and investment.
  • Innovative thinking and a track record of developing and implementing successful lending strategies.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
