About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Communication and Change Lead to join our Strategy Execution Office, supporting BSP’s flagship Modernising for Growth (MFG) program. In this pivotal role, you will develop and implement impactful communication strategies to provide internal and external stakeholders with clear visibility into the progress and impact of MFG initiatives. Your expertise will play a key role in enhancing BSP’s reputation, fostering employee engagement, and supporting our strategic objectives.
Key Deliverables
Strategic Communication Planning
- Develop and execute comprehensive, proactive communication strategies aligned with the MFG program.
- Craft and manage the MFG narrative to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
- Tailor communication for diverse audiences and stakeholders as required.
Internal Communications
- Create and deliver engaging content, including newsletters, intranet updates, and company-wide announcements.
- Facilitate effective communication between leadership and employees.
- Develop and support communication playbooks for organizational change initiatives.
External Communications
- Manage media relations content for MFG, including press releases and media inquiries, fostering strong relationships with journalists.
- Oversee social media presence with timely and relevant MFG content.
- Develop messaging for investor publications, shareholder communications, regulators, and other external stakeholders.
Content Creation
- Produce high-quality content, including speeches, presentations, reports, and marketing materials.
- Ensure all content aligns with BSP’s branding and messaging guidelines.
What You Bring:
We are looking for a skilled communicator with a strong background in corporate communications, journalism, or public relations. You thrive in fast-paced environments, excel at managing multiple priorities, and possess a track record of delivering results in complex and challenging settings.
Essential Qualifications, Professional/Skills and Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications, preferably at the postgraduate level, in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in corporate communications, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Experience supporting critical strategic initiatives at the Executive Committee level.
- International experience in diverse and challenging environments is highly desirable.
- Proven experience developing and executing strategic communication plans. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong media relations skills with experience working with top-tier media outlets.
- Proficiency in digital communication tools and social media platforms. Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to solve complex problems and formulate practical solutions.
